Festivities of a Family Wedding

Last Thursday my brother, Jonathan, got married.  It was great to have lots of family come in for the special event.  Here's a few pics from the fun weekend that Ben and I had with them all!

Saturday morning we all went out to cheer on Josiah at his first Miracle League baseball game of the season!

Happy 80th!

Sunday afternoon we all gathered at my uncle's farm to celebrate the birthday of one of the most special people in my life.  Happy 80th Birthday to my grandfather, Tom Fields!

Celebration of Marriage

Last night I had the honor of being a bridesmaid in the wedding of one my best friends.  Since Ben and I also know the groom really well it was an extra special wedding to us.  Besides my own, I don't think I've ever been more excited at a wedding before!  Congratulations to Willis & Mary Weatherford!!

Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day weekend the Piech's took a family trip (meaning Nova came with us) to visit my grandparents in Edinburg, IL.  As always, we had a delightful time with them hanging out and playing lots of cards.

Nova slept in the car the whole way there and back.  

We're very thankful that Nova gets along with Tiff.

Grandma and Grandpa fixed us bbq ribs on the grill one night.  They were quite delicious  :)

Of course we also made our regular trip to Scheels to get more discs for disc golf.  Ben found the bear this time and had to pose the exact same way, lol.

Vinegar Magic

We recently used the helpful tip from our realtor on using vinegar to clean the grout between ceramic tiles.  Now the kitchen, dining, and entry way floors of our "new" home look brand new!

Keeneland

Last weekend Ben and I enjoyed spending an afternoon at Keeneland.  

There really is something special about being outside on a nice day watching horses race and hearing their feet pound the track as they go by.  

Easter Egg Fun

This Easter I decided to make the deviled eggs a little more fun and festive!

Smoky Mountains

Last week Ben and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary by renting a cabin in Pigeon Forge, TN.  It was a much needed vacation away from the busyness of every day life.
