Month in Pictures

As one can imagine, life with two small kids is busy.  But also a lot of fun!  Here are some of the things that our family experienced over the past month.

Enjoying every day life

Memorial Day weekend Thomas was baptized at our church

We frequent a couple of nearby parks.
Elizabeth really enjoys being outside

Last week Thomas turned 3 months old.
He can now laugh and roll across a room!

Kisses!

Thomas is 2 months old!

Tomorrow our little man will be 2 months old!  He can already roll over from stomach to back and gives us lots of smiles :)

Elizabeth continues to blossom every day as well!  She is now walking, can say a few words, and eats just about everything that we do.  And my how our girl likes to eat!

We're very blessed :)

Keeneland

Ben and I had the opportunity to enjoy a date out at the Keeneland race track today.  The weather was a sunny 75 degrees so it couldn't have been any more perfect :)

After Kentucky Basketball, horse racing is Lexington's biggest pride.  There's just nothing quite like it!

Our little Superman

Tomorrow Thomas will be one month old!
He's growing so fast we can hardly believe it.  Where is the time going?!

Thomas Isaac Piech

On Thursday, March 5, 2015 we welcomed our son, Thomas Isaac Piech, into the world  Amid a snow storm and Benjamin having a bad stomach bug God blessed us with a quick and natural delivery. He weighed 8lbs and was 21 inches long.  We are now a family of 4!

Elizabeth has taken nicely to her little brother :)

Happy Birthday Elizabeth!

Our family is incredibly blessed to have each one of you in our lives.  Thank you for everyone who made it to Elizabeth's birthday party today and for helping make it a special time for her.  For those of you that were unable to physically be with us (though we know you were with us in spirit!) here are some photos from the festivities.  Elizabeth seemed to enjoy herself a lot so I'd say it was a success  :)

Pizza occupied the bare spot later on

We hung a banner with 12 photos of Elizabeth. One from each month since birth.

Cupcake time!

Looks like she's giving a thumbs up in this picture.  I think she approves of the cupcake ;)

This was the most successful attempt to get a picture with her cousin Hazel.

And this is one of our favorite photos of the day.  The bear was a gift that Elizabeth seemed both excited and scared about.  In the beginning she would look at it but didn't want to touch it at all.  Later on this afternoon we discovered that we're pretty sure Elizabeth thought this polar bear was real at first.  She quickly warmed up to it though and gave it several hugs as well kisses on its nose.
